Skateboard GB Success at World Championships Skateboard Park!
The World Championships Skateboard Park competition took place over the weekend in Sharjah, UAE, signalling the beginning of Olympic qualifying for Paris 2024 and kicking off a season of high stakes skateboarding competitions. Naturally we were backing Skateboard GB all the way, partly out of patriotism but mostly because a member of our own Route One family was in the running. On the back of her remarkable British National Championships victory last year, Cornwall local Lola Tambling stepped up on the international stage to snag a sensational 6th place in the finals, whilst teammate Sky Brown brought home the gold for Skateboard GB. An incredible achievement all on its own, made even more impressive by the fact that both girls are only 14 years old! We are incredibly proud of Lola and Sky and wish them all the best of luck with the rest of their journey towards Olympic glory!
