Today, we bring to you the Trainerspotter x Russell Athletic collaboration.
The Russell Manufacturing Co was founded in 1902 by Benjamin Russell. The brand quickly became synonomous as the company who produced uniforms for American football, basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball teams both professional and college. During the 1980âs Russell Athletic became a staple streetwear favourite alongside brands like Champion and Nike and definitely made a big impression on us.
For this collaboration, the brands sought to create a hybrid of Russellâs classic 1970âs and 80âs logos and labelling, and combined this with heavyweight jersey, authentic detailing and the orginal garment patterns and added the Trainerspotter design stamp.
The result is a capsule collection of versatile premium streetwear garments perfect for any contemporary wardrobe.
