As it is the 20th anniversary of one of the most beloved brands in the industry you have to joyously accept that you are going to see quite a bit from the Girl Skateboards camp this month. From our interviews with Mike and Rick, the travelling Art Dump show focusing on the very best artwork to come out of the multitudes of in house designers over the years, various collaborations with world famous brands to this, perhaps my favourite! Legendary skate section “remixer” Manolo was hired to produce a “best of” from the enviable archives of Girl’s video collection and he has not disappointed.
Using Goldfish, Paco, Mouse, The Chocolate Tour, Yeah Right!, Hot Chocolate, Fully Flared and Pretty Sweet, his back catalogue of skate sounds and even some of the original tapes he has produced this thirteen and a half minute opus that deserves your full attention!
