Marcus Shaw for éS
Whilst Thrasher may reign supreme in terms of international clout, Free Skate Mag, born from the ashes of the legendary Kingpin, very much holds its own as a purveyor of skateboarder's skateboarding. Shying away from the payday of showcasing energy drink commercials masquerading or promoting million dollar competitions, Free concentrates on an advocacy of the lesser known talents, the Euro rippers and brands that that support this scene.
Marcus Shaw, killing it for éS, is a perfect case in point. Scottish born but residing in Olso, it would be very easy for the mainstream industry to pass him by. But with Free to showcase this magnificent edit from Britain's premier lens man Kevin Parrott, we all get to enjoy a part from a lad who is undeniably one of the smoothest talents in Europe right now.
No really, Marcus Shaw is definitely in that top 1% right now, just without Free Skateboard Mag giving him his dues, most folk probably wouldn't know it!
