Nike SB: Air Max Ishod London Launch Event
Who, What, Wair?
Remixing an icon, Nike SB bring the Air Max 97’s most iconic colourway to Ishod Wair’s signature shoe. To celebrate the release of the Air Max Ishod ‘Silver Bullet’, we were joined by the man of the hour at our Covent Garden store for the launch of the shoe.
Ishod and his crew joined us at our flagship store in London where some of our flow team riders, staff and friends of Route One all gathered for the launch of his high-velocity shoe.
It gave our team and a few lucky members of the public a chance to meet one of the greatest skaters of his generation, whilst also celebrating the release of this monumental colourway. Our launch event was accompanied by Homeslice pizza, drinks from the crew over at Jubel and, of course, some Silver Bullet giveaways and signing opportunities from Ishod himself.
Coming smoking out of the barrel of Nike SB’s loaded gun of classic silhouettes and standout colourways, the ‘Silver Bullet’ is a Metallic Silver and Varsity Red take on a current SB staple, just in time for Air Max Day.
Born out of his love for archival Nike models, the Air Max Ishod brings his eye for aesthetics together with functional performance enhancing elements for skateboarding. The Silver Bullet gives more than a nod to one of Ishod's favourite Nike running models, the Air Max 97, featuring a metallic silver leather upper, mesh collar and Varsity Red details popping from the steely upper.
