Define: Behind the Missions Episode 3. CARLOS
Carlos Ribero, a man residing in the proverbial side-well of the industry until P Rod offered him the chance to ride for his then unlaunched Primitive Skateboards, is now rightfully considered one of the most exceptional talents the skateboarding world has ever known.
Utterly perfect form, both in his natural stance and switch, combined with an eye for the tastefully unusual, have catapulted this man to the very top of the game and last year's end part in 'Define' was the cherry on top of a career that could end now and no doubt be considered legendary.
Continuing their 'Behind the missions' series, Primitive's latest episode focuses on the efforts of the Novo Hamburgo native and the mix of skate footage and back stories to the clips is one of the most interesting things we've seen in weeks! From the theory behind the approach (get all the enders in at the start, to save stress later) to the methodical approach to trick performance, Carlos is very much a thinking man. On the evidence of his career trajectory, we reckon he might just be on to something!
