Slappy Trip in California
Barring the two glaringly obvious issues with this clip (the first being it was filmed portrait, for Insta Reels, as opposed to landscape, for every telly that has ever existed ever, the second we'll give you until the final paragraph to work out), this clip from Film Trucks has gotta be one of our favourite things so far this month!
A group of guys, all old enough to be your dad, repping Jeremie Daclin's Film Trucks brand and getting up to all manner of ride on grinds is very much our cup of tea. Lets face it, lockdown forced us all to get familiar with our local kerbs so there's something inherently relatable about low impact grindage and minimal pop!
So, have you figured the second glaringly obvious issue yet? Yep, the cardinal sin of song reuse, in this case Forever Young from Kerry Getz' seminal part in DVS' Skate More, has been committed. We'll forgive them this once though, seeing as though the clip itself is so good. Just no more classic song reappropriation in future please!
