Bio
Originally hailing from sunny Notts, Dan has been ripping up the Bristol scene ever since he moved down. His versatility and ability are undeniable, and you can usually catch him putting it down at Slab (Dean Lane) and Viccy Park. Capable of hitting just about anything, he is always driving to learn more and to grow his bag of tricks, whilst bringing a cheeky enthusiasm to any session that makes it impossible not to get hyped. We're gassed to have Dan on the team.
STANCE: Goofy
LOCAL PARK: Dean Lane or Victoria Park in Bristol
GO-TO TRICK: Frontside Flip for sure.
DREAM TRICK: Right now, probably a half cab heel nose slide.
FAVOURITE OBSTACLE TO SKATE: Probably a a hip or ledge, but I also can't resist a mini ramp.
FAVOURITE SPOT: It's a hard one, but I'd have to say St Werburghs manual pad purely on its proximity to my house.
FAVOURITE SKATE SHOE: I tend to switch between black Superstars or Halfcabs
BEST PLACE YOU HAVE VISITED TO SKATE: I recently went to Barcelona and that was really fun so either there or Berlin (so far).
FAVOURITE SKATER WITH STYLE: I can't decide between Ville Wester, Deedz or Heitor Da Silva.
FAVOURITE BAND/ARTIST: Band wise I'd choose Fontaines DC and artist I would say Erykah Badu.
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE NOT SKATING: I like going out on my bike with friends just riding around the city. I've also recently started climbing which is something fun to do when it's rainy. If I'm not doing that I'm chilling with my girlfriend.
WHO INFLUNCES YOU THE MOST IN SKATEBOARDING: I'd say definitely my two close friends Josh and Finn, we grew up skating together and we bounce off each other's company on and off the board.
FAVOURITE ROUTE ONE PRODUCT: Either the Baggy Jeans or the new checked shirt named after a local legend.
FAVOURITE ROUTE ONE SKATER: Jordan Thackeray is an all-round great guy on and off the board so definitely him.
BEST EVER SKATE MISSION: Definitely, the Barcelona 2024 trip with a killer of a skate crew. Check @boltsinc out on Instagram to have a look at the video.
ANYTHING COMING UP IN THE FUTURE (SKATING OR NOT SKATING) THAT YOU ARE PARTICUARLY LOOKING FORWARD TO: Yeah, I'm going Paris with my girlfriend in December, so I'm looking forward to that, Other than that, I guess I'm just looking forward to keeping on pushing skating and attempting to climb to keep myself busy through winter.
