Thrasher Magazine launches its serialisation of Foundation Skateboards long awaited, full length video 'Oddity', in the most spectacular fashion, sharing with us all the unfathomable gnar of the one and only Corey Glick.
But that's not before the most pleasant of surprises arrives in the form of Foundation legend Corey Duffel opening proceedings with an unexpected 'pre-intro' section that, although short, reminds us why we first fell in love with the lanky gap chomper all those years ago. Walnut Creek's most famous son may be the wrong side of 30, and subject to some of the most painful long term injuries pro skateboarding knows, but that hasn't stopped him dropping hammers like it's 2001. This is sure to put a smile on the face of any Duffel fan, and we know there are plenty of you out there!
It isn't all about the Duffman though; Foundation has moved onto the new breed, and it's Glick that steals the show here, rightfully so. Although it starts off slow, with casual and stylish lines ruling the first minute or so, once the triple rail front board is landed the whole section erupts. In an era of "relatable" low impact cruising, those who choose to step it up really can shine and Corey steps it up to Chris Joslin levels and subsequently sparkles just as brightly. This is premier league level stuff, we promise you're going to enjoy it...
