Neutral colouration coats the assemblage, with the Nike SB Blazer Low x Doyenne dressed in a soft Coconut Milk / Rattan colourway. The body of the shoe is thoughtfully fashioned from a canvas crafted using pineapple waste, creating an enduring exterior with a gentle aesthetic. This softer look flows through the Swoosh, which has an almost patchwork design; and the outsole, which emulates self-expression through its blend of meandering colours.
Perhaps the most distinguishing feature of the latest Blazer rendition is its reworked, layered taping and extruded toecap - prominent detailing elevating durability for skateboarding, and suggestive of the importance of change and growth. Convenient heel pulls are planted at the collar, and delicate Doyenne printing finalises the detailing towards the lateral heel. The outcome is a clean and composed, low cut shoe that perfectly encapsulates the collection and its intention, a fitting tribute to Doyenne’s doctrine of equality and empowerment.
