Injuries, a board company demise and a number of shoe sponsor changes have seen the promising career of Salem, OR native Tyler Bledsoe never quite reach the heights initial coverage suggested but the man in the spectacles is still young and this brand new section from the good folk over at Quasi suggests he is now well on the road to the stardom his ability so richly deserves.
After finding a home for his feet 12 months ago, laced in the fine footwear of HUF, Tyler has been able to concentrate on the thing he does best without the concerns regarding where his next paycheck will be coming from. And it shows, the skating on display is as good as we've seen from him since those heady days of 2010's Transworld release 'Hallelujah'.
Though the editing may leave those with a predisposition for motion sickness feeling nauseous and the amalgam of filming styles does result in a somewhat disjointed affair, there is no denying the power and severity with which Tyler approaches the obstacles under his tricks. A mixture of insane tech and powerful simplicity keeps all but the most niche conformist happy and there's a hell of a lot to be said for holding backside tail slides longer than most can hold their breath!
