Habitat Skateboards

Nov 2014 by Route One

Back in May 2014 Alien workshop and Habitat skateboards seemed to be closing it’s doors undeniably out of the blue, there was no official information given, just riddling Facebook statuses and Instagram pictures from team members and all those involved industrially.

But recent decisions from the great minds of Joe Castrucci and Brennan Conroy saw Habitat “rise from the ashes” and find a new nesting in the arms of Tum Yeto distribution. This gave Habitat a whole new lease of life but with an entirely new perspective and direction.

Thankfully 90% of the team decided to stick with Habitat until Joe and Brennan found it’s new home at Tum Yeto.
With pay cuts and other reductions in place it was a huge surprise that the whole team didn’t jump ship are start something of their own, it seems these guys are all in this for the love and passion they have for the brand.

Habitat are still strongly manifesting creative imagery, company ethos and positive vibes from arguably the most stylish team out there.
The new product seems rad as ever, this new ‘Indigenous series’ is a big stand out point for us.

Constructed with standard 7ply Canadian maple and P2 construction, giving you extra pop with light weight construction, these are sure winners in the skate market.

Check out our stock of Habitat here, along with this cool video reintroducing Habitat to the stage.
