Here at Route One we have just received the first Spring 15 drop of Nike SB footwear and we thought it only fair to showcase to you our pick of the bunch from this seasons offering.
Concentrating on the technical specifics and overall performance of their footwear, Nike introduce some new silhouettes to this seasons line which can be seen to have taken inspiration from various walks of life such as the ever popular "Free sole" technology used in most of today’s runners.
Pitched perfectly in between Nike SB's fully-tech skate shoes and their lightweight, don't-you dare-skate-me runners, Nike SB introduce the all new Free Skate Shoes in Black/Black Sail.
Offering ground-breaking flexibility, minimal weight and comfort the Frees are constructed from both suede and mesh to boost durability and ventilation, providing an all-round, unmatched shoe that performs both on and off your board.

Spring 15 also sees the introduction of some new colour-ups applied to the ever popular silhouette of the Stefan Janoski Max. A sneaker inspired take on 2014's most popular skate shoe, this increasingly popular style holds onto the technical features of the classic Stefan Janoski skate shoe whilst offering advanced and boundary pushing one-piece construction, superb Max Air cushioning and Free flexibility.
Lightweight speckled Phylon mid-sole and EVA foam sockliner come as standard and also provide ample additional cushioning to make things that little bit smoother. The technologically advanced sole also features deep vertical and horizontal flex grooves for natural range of motion with solid rubber pods and herringbone traction pattern for superior board feel.
Available in Blue Graphite/Pink Pow/Metallic Silver, Villain Red/Black/Wolf Grey and White/Clearwater- Anthracite- Black, these shoes incorporate the classic style and design of a brilliant skate shoe with the comfort and feel of a modern day runner and as we see it, it is the perfect crossover.
Unveiling a selection of new colours that have been added to its rugged skate hybrid sneaker the Trainerendor, Nike SB encapsulate various different colour schemes in these Spring 15 additions such as a red-wine “Merlot”, a royal "Blue Force" and a classic interpretation of Black/Grey.
Technical yet standard features on this street-ready silhouette come by way of a mesh and nubuck uppers in eye-catching yet unpredictably neutral shades with tonal Velcro straps providing not only additional support along the midfoot but also allowing for maximum movement with minimal restriction. A crisp sole with speckled detailing and subtle branding at the tongue rounds off this now favourable yet sometimes controversial shoe which is sure to provoke reactions from the masses.
All styles showcased are available both online and in-stores now while stocks last.
