We'll freely admit, we're not quite sure why Adrien Bulard named his new 'offcuts' part "Millionaire" as we can't imagine the Decathlon shoe deal pays for much more than a few Greggs lunches a week. But call it "Millionaire" he did and, to be fair, if you have somehow missed this unpolished gem then it's probably worth hearing us out on this one.
The video came out over a week ago, which would normally preclude it from coverage in out bi-weekly musings, but this part has been causing quite a stir (not always for the right reasons) and it's still January, so great content is quite thin on the ground!
So, you may have heard about the oddities relating to one of his tricks; a suitably insane backside flip into a steep bank. This was the ender in his recent Decathlon part and it is, without a doubt, very gnarly. Only the footage in this, from a different angle, has got everybody talking, with a green bucket magically teleporting twenty yards and reappearing as a suitcase being pulled by a photographer. Strange doesn't even begin to cover it!
Now the answer is almost certainly AI video generation, turning a portrait clip into useable landscape, but when a part as objectively insane as this is all but forgotten in favour of online conspiracies, it suggests computer generated help is a long way from "helping" skateboarding. Which, to be fair, is almost certainly a good thing. So thanks to Mr Bulard for clearing that up.
It's just a shame the thumbnail trick isn't actually in the video. Sort it out Adrien!
