It's often said that skateboarding is more of an art-form than a sport; the idea being that, as there are no rules, how one decides to use the skateboard is entirely subjective. However, in recent years, as skill levels have gone stratospheric, a split seems to have developed, with the athletic ability of those at the very top seemingly coming at the expense of creative expression.
Nick Garcia bucks that trend. Capable of pretty much anything he wants, he could easily dial it in at a Street League contest, make himself a nice living and probably earn a few quid on the side milking an energy drinks company. Instead, Nick takes his otherworldly talent to the very limits of creative expression, pushing boundaries like nobody else out there right now.
This rough cut/raw flies/expanded (or whatever you wanna call it) from Element showcases just how artistically inventive Nick's skateboarding is. 12 minutes of pure freedom of movement and not a single moment of dialling it in!
