Element Europe’s Frenchman at large, Michael Mackrodt, comes correct with the latest in his series of ‘Fishing lines’ edits, filmed on the lesser seen spots of many a Paris suburb.
The premise behind the series is simple; Michael spends a week or so in the chosen city (previous episodes in China and Bangkok have been particularly memorable) with a filmer and puts out a part of cruising lines, showcasing the more ‘off the beaten path’ skate spots said city has to offer.
As anyone who has visited Paris on a skate trip will know, the city is famous for some incredible skate architecture but, other than the famous playground spot of Ivry Sur Seine, nothing on show has ever really cropped up in videos before – the city evidently has so much more to offer!
To concentrate on the spots though really is to do a disservice to the content Michael has put out. The lines are creative and it is certain to get you psyched to get out and skate; surely that’s the best praise any skate clip can receive.
