On Monday the 29th of October Route One hosted our third R1 Free Skate Day, in association with DC, in six indoor skateparks throughout the UK.
All the parks were packed with skaters, everyone got the chance to skate their local park for free (without any scooters) and £12,000 worth of free goodies were given out throughout the day.
We sent a filmer to each event to make an edit of the day and asked you guys to vote for your favourite video on our R1 Facebook page.
Voting closed at 10am today and we're pleased to announce The Boardroom, Leicester have won for the second time with a massive 2245 votes narrowly beating Dublin with a respectable 2176 votes.
Special thanks to all the skateparks, all the skaters, all the brands who provided prizes, DC for the support and everyone who voted.
ROUTE ONE FREE SKATE DAY will return in 2013!
