Mush - Vans x Vague
Will Smith, the Brafordian snowboarder, not the slap happy Hollywood superstar (West Philadelphia born and raised), has released his latest project 'Mush' through Vans and Vague magazine and it's an absolute Bobby Dazzler.
Focussing on the West Yorkshire based trifecta of Sam 'Blinky' Hutchinson, Paul 'Wapo' Watson and Albie Edmonds, this is the rawest northern skateboarding you're ever likely to see! Death Skateboard's resident Mackem Blinky drops in from second story street transitions, Wapo nosebluntslides the pointed roofs of abandoned factories and Albie takes his Sade approach (smooth operator, if the reference didn't land) to the roughest back streets Leeds has to offer.
The word coming straight from the mouth of Blinky suggests conception to completion was less than a year, which is frankly astonishing given just how sick every section in this fifteen minute video is. Hopefully the clement weather we've been enjoying of late has inspired the boys to pick up the camera for round two, we definitely want to see more from Albie, Wapo and Blinky!
