Dreamt up by author A.A. Milne nearly 90 years ago as a bed-time story for his son, Winnie The Pooh was developed by Disney into a series of animated features in the 1960’s. Since then, the lovable but slightly slow-witted bear has been become known world-wide, famed for his unfailing kindness, and fondness of honey. Although Pooh has been seen on all manner of merchandise over the years, he now takes a bold step, along with some friends, into the world of fashion and accessories, in tandem with Canadian luggage brand Herschel Supply Co.
Drawing inspiration form the spirit of adventure that enchants the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood, each piece in this collection features a cascading illustration that portrays Winnie the Pooh tumbling through an abstract daydream alongside his closest friends Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and Rabbit.
Available in Black, White and Golden Honey tones, the scaled down Mid-Volume Heritage and Settlement backpacks are accented with reflective rubber finishing’s, smooth leather zipper pulls reminiscent of Winnie the Pooh’s distinctive colours and an exclusive black fabric liner that features a custom Disney Woven label.
Also available are a set of ‘Packables’ that are engineered to fold away easily into internal storage pockets. Rendered in Black lightweight Ripstop with a reflective screen print, the Packable Daypack, Duffel and Tote feature durable nylon webbing straps and carry handles ensuring the quality of these products stays true to Herschel’s roots and core high-quality workmanship.
