Liam McCabe - HSS3
For every Berrics there is a Free, for every Street League there is a Quartersnacks, for every Gustavo Ribeiro there is a Liam McCabe. What we're trying to say is that every 'mainstream' skateboarding action has an equal and opposite 'core' reaction, a yin to the big money yang if you will, and this new part from Liam McCabe, brought to you by Quartersnacks, is a perfect example of the dualism of skateboarding.
In a world where a single clip on a temporary skatepark rail gets a million views, it's imperative to acknowledge that it matters not that tastefully curated skateboarding, captured on vibrantly unique obstacles, will receive less than 10 thousand. That's where we are and little will ever change, but knowing that beautiful skateboarding exists, and that it is done for beauty's sake (rather than the fleeting glory of social media serotonin), is enough for those of us who care about such things.
The latest SLS hammer may be getting 100k likes in its first hour on Tiktok but we're happy be sat in the corner, experiencing the joy of Liam McCabe. On the basis of this amazing new part, we reckon you should give the lad a chance too.
