Primitive / Spencer Hamilton 'Vancouver' Part

Jun 2021 by Route One
It was 10 years ago this very week when our intrepid camera man (and budding skate interviewer) ventured north of the border, reporting on the Supra Team's inaugural visit to these shores. And whilst tales from rain sodden pub visits with Penny, Muska and Boulala became the stuff of legend, the foundations of careers to rival these veritable skate gods were laid before our very eyes. As has so often been the case in skateboarding through the years, the budding talent of the supporting cast is a glimpse to the headline acts of the future; Edinburgh 2011 is where we saw Spencer Hamilton for the first time.

Now, a decade later, Spencer releases his latest part for Primitive and it's every bit the technical masterpiece we've come to expect from the Canadian artificer. Centered on his home town of Vancouver (you may have noticed this virus thing recently that has made international travel kinda difficult), this is five minutes of exquisitely captured board manipulation of the highest order.

And whilst none of us can go back in time to witness those first youthful flashes of brilliance displayed on Midlothian concrete, it's simply the click of a button that can grant you the opportunity to view this latest tour de force. You know what to do!
