Renowned skateboarder and musician, Pablo Ramirez was an inspiration to many. Having had a very successful skateboarding career and taking on a multitude of artistic endeavours, it was his steadfast passion for living life to the fullest that made so many look up to him.
Becoming a professional skateboarder in San Francisco, he quickly became renowned for not only his skill but his fearless ambition, skating down the steepest streets in the city. Pablo gained a huge international following and went on to skate for HUF and GX1000 as well as appearing in Thrasher’s Roll Up and Adrenaline Junkie videos, showcasing the best of the San Fransican skate scene.
Pablo found the rhythm of life early on, learning how to play the drums at 12 and going onto study at top music schools such as the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, the New York Jazz Academy, the New School for Jazz Studies, and Berkeley Jazz Academy.
Painting became another of Pablo’s artistic expressions which he completely immersed himself in. Exploring abstract 'greenism', his studio apartment became a private canvas to project his internal world. His work was also featured in at a collaborative DIY show, and then at the Youth Art Exchange’s public art show on April 6, 2019.
The HUF x Pablo Ramirez Foundation collection features a selection of his personal drawings and writings on apparel and accessories. The collaboration also includes a 100 page magazine celebrating the life of Pablo and his love of skateboarding, painting and music. Check out the collection now!
