With over 600k views in its first two days online, it's safe to assume you've already seen this 12-minute behemoth of a part from Nyjah Huston and Nike SB. That said, it's such a big deal (and likely to cement a Thrasher SOTY win) that it would be remiss of us to gloss over it, for fear that it may have somehow passed you by.
Taking inspiration (we assume) from Marc Johnson's SOTY winning year, Nyjah's 2022 culminates in a three-song opus that is, quite frankly, ridiculous. Honestly, your humble reporter sat here for a good ten minutes, pouring over a thesaurus, searching for suitable superlatives to somehow describe just how 'next level' this is and came up with nothing. Without turning the air blue there's little in the English language up to the task, short of saying Nyjah really did go "full send!"
From multiple Clipper NBDs to kicker assisted video game style grinds, this is pretty much the endgame of handrail skating. Of course, Tyshawn's recently leaked Supreme part may see him re-crowned SOTY but, in terms of an arena of skateboarding reaching its zenith? Its conclusion? Nyjah has done it, handrails are complete!
