We are thrilled to announce that Lola Tambling joins the Route One National Team in late 2022. Lola originally skated for our Bristol store and is currently being hooked up by a stacked sponsorship lineup of Welcome Skateboards, adidas, Independent, Jessup, Orbs Wheels and 187 Killer Pads. We’re thrilled to have her on the team.
At just 16 years old, Lola has become a staple of the UK skate scene. A Skateboard GB National Champion, you can regularly find her shredding parks, vert ramps and crusty DIY spots around the world. And she is showing no signs of slowing down, with the Skateboarding Women’s Park event at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games on the horizon. She qualified for the Games by reaching the Semi-finals of the Olympic Qualifier Series in Budapest and landing sixth place in the World Championships in 2023, securing her spot on Team GB where she will compete within a skateboarding dream team, alongside Olympic medalist Sky Brown and eight time X Games gold medal winner Andy Macdonald.
We couldn’t be more stoked to have Lola as part of the Route One family and we are excited to see what is in store for her in the future.
