Daniel Ledermann & Matheus Du Bronks' UNITED II
When skate content comes from a national scene you don't know so well, like Brazil in this clip from Pocket Skate Mag, one can be forgiven a rare hint of skateboarding xenophobia. There's so much out there to feast on these days that unless you know the names, we're all guilty of passing on by stuff from skaters we'll never meet, residing in countries we'll never visit.
If we're feeling generous, perhaps we'll watch the first few tricks to see if something is worth our while, only ever sticking around if it instantly grabs us by the proverbials. UNITED II, featuring Daniel Ledermann and Matheus Du Bronks, does exactly that!
So when you read Daniel and Matheus names, don't immediately scroll on by. German born Ledermann and Sao Paulo native Du Bronks might not be the biggest names on the planet but you don't end up repping adidas and Nike by being a home town hero. UNITED II contains some seriously impressiva skate stuntage and it serves to remind us that we need to be a little more open to content from outside the anglosphere - there's more to skateboarding than Southern California and the local Lidl kerbs!
