Mashlife 'Wildflower'
Huddersfield's Mashlife crew don't rest on their laurels. Not the sort to sit around the local prefab park, complaining that their village has no spots, Nathan Page and the boys search city and Dale (literally) looking for every conceivable piece of skateable terrain, even if it's high on the windswept moors above Manchester.
Having wrapped up previous scene video Foothills in November '21, new video Wildflower began to take shape in January of 2022 and now, two and a half years later, this labour of love and google maps has produced one of the most fantastically British pieces of skate cinema you're ever likely to find.
A celebration of the parochial and honouring the provincial, this is the reality of British skateboarding for thousands of us but taken to an hyper motivated extreme. From sluices to sea walls, bankles to bog-side paths, if you can put four wheels on it and it's visible on Street-view, Josh Whitehead, Fred Ryan, Felix, Wapo and the rest have ridden it.
