Ben Grove - Muska Day
Even if you're new to skateboarding, we have to assume you've heard of the Muska. Coming straight outta Ohio in the early 90's, the saggy pant wearing purveyor of the eponymous 'Muskabeatz' took the skate world by storm and was, for a good few years at least, the biggest name on the planet.
And with good reason too. Not only was Muska the most bombastic hype man you'd ever hope to meet (trust us, personality is wayyy more important than ability if you wanna make it as a pro skater) but he also had an insatiable appetite for destruction that culminated in the now infamous "Muska Day." What started out as a simple Arizona filming session for Transworld's Feedback quickly turned into something so legendary that it's still discussed in revered tones 26 years later.
And it's in homage to this miraculous moment in skateboarding history that this brand new clip from Ben Grove was produced, himself a man of similarly legendary stature and one you newcomers better not be sleeping on! So watch this then go on a Ben Grove binge - nothing is gonna hype you up this week like his switch hubba drop in!
