Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2: featured skaters- Lizzie Armanto
To celebrate the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remastered, we've been taking a look at a few of our favourite characters in the game. First up, its Birdhouse's own Lizzie Armanto.
Armanto also joined the game at the same time as Bufoni in THPS 5. Although Lizzie is a park skater, she says that you should play her character on the street, as she'd love to do that more herself! Hoho's and McTwists on the trick list for this Birdhouse skater.
Lizzie made her name first appearing at the Vans combi pool jams, getting noticed by some of skateboard’s greatest, including Tony Hawk who later on brought her into the Birdhouse family and finally turning her pro in 2017.

Finding space in competitive skateboarding early, Armanto won her first X Games in Barcelona 2013 and has gone from strength to strength since. She is the first woman to get the cover of TransWorld and got the cover for Thrasher in 2017, 26 years after the last woman to get the opportunity. Now her sights are set on the Olympics, competing for Finland in Tokyo 2021.
Mixing her art and style with skateboarding, Lizzie’s boards are super colourful and intricate, plus her collaborations with Vans are always filled with the finer details.
