With SOTY just around the corner, and the (almost) inevitable re-crowning of Jamie Foy, fans of skateboarding gossip are going into overdrive trying to work out if Burnett could possibly be about to pick an outsider and really set the cat amongst the pigeons.
But as the aforementioned Foy, alongside perma-runner up Tiago Lemos, Elijah Berle, Andy Anderson and other such hopefuls try to get a hint as to where the fabled statuette may be headed, Norway's Didrik 'Deedz' Galasso has come through with yet another part that puts his name in the mix, though certainly as a rank outsider.
With his love for a tiled floor, a front blunt and a coloured wheel, Deedz' parts might not be as face-melting as Jamie's, as popped as Tiago's or as burled as Berle's, but he does come good with some exceptional rarely seen stuntery, so discount the lad from Larvik at your peril! Or just ignore the SOTY nonsense and enjoy a good part, both are fine by us!
