One positive takeaway from the last few troubling years has been the increased engagement with skateboarding from all demographics; what was traditionally a very male dominated space is progressively growing into a more diverse and respectful community and with that comes more variety in terms of the content on offer. Alexis Lewis' new project, entitled PETTICOAT., broadcasts some of the best of womxn's skateboarding in Bristol and showcases the sheer enjoyment that four wheels and a plank of wood can bring. After an initial public screening at Strange Brew (right around the corner from Bristol's modern flat-ground mecca "Centre Spot"), PETTICOAT. is now available from the comfort of your computer desk, and features a selection of rippers including Route One riders Rianne Evans, Beth Howells, and Poppy Holmes-Volks. Keep an eye out for the first PETTICOAT. clothing drop, available over on their site soon!
