Marre & Nisse
Regular readers will know of our love for Fritte Soderstrom, the Sour adjacent film maker and man behind the truly mesmerising Jante series. Whilst this new production 'Marre & Nisse' doesn't fall under the Jante umbrella, it maintains all the wonderful film making characteristics you've come to know and love and, as such, we're presenting it to you in the same exceptionally high regard.
Featuring the twin talents of Sour pro's Martin Sandberg and Nisse Ingermarsson, this clip is as close to skateboarding perfection as you're likely to find. Yes, we know that sounds a little bit silly but, looking at it purely objectively, what could you really improve?
The filming is beyond compare - dynamic so that you see every trick in its perfect form yet not too invasive in technique that it steals your attention. The spots are engrossing - a combination of quirky and unseen which means you never know what is possibly coming next. And the skating itself? It's two of Sour's biggest pro's - you know it doesn't get better!
So yeah, we're sticking with the not-so-preposterous suggestion that this is as good as it gets and we're watching this on repeat for the next two weeks until we have to watch something new to tell you about. We wouldn't blame you if you do too!
