-NOWT DAFT- A Barnsley/Sheffield skateboard video ...

British skateboarding's premier purveyor of the primped pompadour is back with what is fast becoming an annual tradition; the release of his latest (and greatest) South Yorkshire scene video!

Featuring a cast of old heads and new, Myles Rushforth's Nowt Daft is a labour of love that showcases his twin local scenes of Sheffield and Barnsley. Opening with the Steel City's amazingly talented Jayden Hallows, Nowt Daft brings everything we've come to expect from a man who has spent the best part of two decades honing his craft.

With a feel that owes more to legendary British skate classic Everything is Going to be Alright than it does the throwaway reels of the modern era, Myles cements himself not only as one of the most stylish skaters in the country, but one of the most accomplished filmmakers too.

For fans of Britain's rich history of scene videos, this really is the cream of the crop!

Classic Covers - San Diego’s Greatest Hits

Whilst skateboarding is undeniably progressive - driven by new learns, bigger obstacles and NBDs - it’s also built on a rich history forged over decades. So, every now and then, a little retrospection is in order.

Thrasher’s latest series, Classic Covers, does exactly that, diving deep into the archives to revisit some of the most iconic covers ever to grace the mag. This episode sees Wes Kremer and Alexis Ramirez reflect on standout moments from their hometown of San Diego, unpacking the stories behind a selection of legendary tricks.

And for someone who largely shuns social media, Wes Kremer comes across as exactly the kind of skateboarding personality the modern world could do with more of. Knowledgeable, irreverent and quietly charismatic, the 2014 SOTY shows he’d have a natural place in front of the camera - if he wanted it. If not, here’s hoping whoever steps up next can make the next episode every bit as engaging!

MUTATE OR DIE

Whilst Nowt Daft served as a love letter to Heroin’s seminal 2002 VHS Everything Is Going to Be Alright, the 2026 iteration of the brand has clearly moved on, as new release Mutate or Die proudly declares.

A lot has changed over the past 24 years - the likes of Arthur Tubb and Joey Crack are long gone - but Fos remains at the helm. And even though he’s taken things stateside, as long as Dead Dave and Craig Questions remain figureheads, there’ll always be that distinctly English charm at the core of what’s now an undeniably multinational operation.

Clocking in at just over 26 minutes, this is prime full-length viewing for fans of hands-on-the-board and hands-on-the-ground, serving as a veritable smorgasbord of the lesser seen side of skateboarding expression.

And there's even a glimpse of Chris Pulman in the mix, so maybe everything really is going to be alright after all!
