Much like the rest of his Polar brethren Kevin takes the road less travelled with a preference for slappies, wallies and no complies yet, despite the ever increasing prominence of this approach, he always innovates, never regurgitates. The no comply body varial revert being a case in point – something that could so easily have been horrible becomes a thing of beauty. He also has one hell of a heel flip, as you’ll witness when you settle down to watch this.
Compared to the mind blowing tech of Shane O’Neill’s Thrasher part it would be easy to dismiss this approach as that of a lesser talent but that would do Kevin a massive disservice – this is skateboarding that is achievable, yes, but it is also massively inspiring and any part that makes you want to get out and skate is worth its weight in gold.
